In 2010, a fan accused Brooke of lip-synching. It was from the annual Spiedie Fest in Binghamton, New York, on August 7th, 2010. One of her people filmed the performance and shared it on YouTube.
As per Starcasm reporting, a user named marybob321 posted a comment that she was lip-synching. Brooke took this personally and shared a video in which she proved that was her real voice at the performance.
In her reply video, she said, “Okay you guys so (on my friends) posted a video of the show in Binghamton that I was lip-synching and they have proof. So just I have proof that I can show you guys that I’m not fake because everybody always wants to look for something wrong for somebody who is talented.”
She added, “And yes, I will tell you this about myself, that I’m talented because I went through a lot of vocal training and a lot of piano lessons to do something like this. This is the live piano and I’m going to sing it for you okay, marybob123. Good user name, by the way, (but) horrible.”
She sang the entire song while playing the piano by taking a shot at the user who criticized her. In the end of the song, she said, “marybob123 thinks that she really knows about me, but she doesn’t anything about me.”
