Over the years in WWE, there have been many wrestlers who have transcended the world of wrestling and stepped into the world of acting. John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dave Batista are the prime examples of the same.
Talking on “Esquire” the sixteen-time world champion, opened up about his views on Batista, refusing to work with neither him nor The Rock.

“I’m super sad about that, because Dave Bautista is an unbelievably gifted actor,” Cena said. “He’s done some amazing work. But I think when someone makes a statement like that, I think the important thing is to try and look at things from their perspective. Dave has worked so hard on his craft, and he is so dedicated to his characters, and really wants to put forth a body of work that gives him his own identity. I 100% understand that.” (H/t Wrestling Inc. )
Cena feels Batista is one of the nicest and generous people one will ever meet. He also clarified that he doesn’t have any beef with Dave and genuinely thinks Dave doesn’t have beef with him, either. John Cena understands that Batista really just wants to be identified and recognized for his work. He cannot fault Dave for that. Instead, Cena applauds him for it. “To be brave enough to say something like that kind of allows him to go forth on his own and I appreciate that,” concluded Cena.
This was the best possible reply anyone could have given to such a statement. We applaud John Cena for not escalating the issue and instead reply with a calm statement. It really shows the class of the former World Champion.
