Becky Lynch can’t seem to catch a break. Mere days before she lost her beloved close pal who she used to train with in her old days in Ireland and now another blow. As you know, WWE is hosting a live event, Superstar Spectacle, in India. Lynch was one of the superstars scheduled to appear.

Well, bad news for the WWE Universe in India, ‘The Man’ will no longer be coming to India for the event. She recently gave this sad update to her Indian fans, asking for their forgiveness for not being able to perform at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

‘Big Time Becks’ logged on to her Twitter account and updated her fans that she won’t be coming to India. The reason she gave was that her passport had a tiny tear, which is why the airline and gate agents didn’t allow her to board her flight.

She expressed her genuine apology to all the fans in Hyderabad who were looking forward to meeting her. She stated that she was very excited to perform in India, but now feels very sad that she won’t be able to do so.

This week has been a rough one for the former multi-time Women’s Champion. Just three days ago, she lost her old training pal and now this. All this must be very heartbreaking for her.

Dean Merton passes away at 35

Irish wrestling superstar and Bohemian FC volunteer, Dean Merton, took his last breath on Monday, September 4. His death was sudden and the cause is still unknown. Merton and Lynch were close friends who had known each other since their early pro wrestling days.

The two Ireland-born superstars would train together in the freezing cold gym and enjoy each other’s company. The news of Merton’s passing left Lynch completely devastated. Going to Twitter, she expressed how much she is going to miss her old pal and his jokes.

Being from Ireland, Merton – who also went by the monikers “Alexander Dean” and “Sean South” – also received training from WWE Grand Slam Champion, Finn Balor. He began his wrestling career in the early 2000s and had an experience of 18 long years.

He has been a part of many wrestling promotions in the world, such as Over The Top wrestling, ICW in Scotland, etc. RIP Dean Merton, the wrestling commuting will miss you.
