WWE 2k24’s release is getting closer, and with an official announcement finally out, details on the unreleased game are flying across the internet. Recently, a WWE talent came across a post that pointed toward her inaugural appearance in the 2k game and it left her ‘sobbing’.

The talent in question is not a wrestler but rather a referee that the fans may recognize as Daphanie LaShaunn. The female referee joined WWE in 2020 as a referee. However, it wasn’t until 2k24 that Take-Two Interactive decided to add her character to the game.

While the game does include some popular referee faces in its previous titles, LaShaunn wasn’t present in any of them by default. However, in 2k24, the developers have decided to add her in. When the referee herself came across this news, she was surprised and had a wholesome reaction.

A fan account for WWE games recently posted an update regarding the fact that LaShaunn is being added to the new game. With a picture of the referee’s in-game character, the account reveals it to be the ‘first look’ at LaShaunn.

LaShaunn’s tweet tells us how excited she is about being added to the game. Since it is her inaugural addition to the WWE 2k games, it must be utterly special for her, leaving her feeling ‘blessed’.

Apart from this, there has been another official revelation about the game’s cover stars and it may surprise you as a fan and a gamer.

Triple H recently posted a video on his Instagram in which he had recorded a message for Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley. The three stars were called to LA to record some content for WWE 2k23. But through the pre-recorded video message, the CCO of WWE revealed that they were at the venue because all three of them were chosen as the cover stars.

After Triple H explained which game edition each star would be featured on, they all had a unique surprised reaction face that was priceless.
