Tonight’s Raw brought out a jubilant episode tonight ahead of Christmas. The pre-booked Championship matches and a few implausible outcomes made the night a legit blockbuster. And the blockbuster would have remained unfinished without the sassy segment from the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Freakin Rollins, continuing his heat with Drew McIntyre.

That said, both rivals had at least one common thread to find common ground on and that’s none other than the ever-controversial CM Punk.

Drew Mclntyre hailed Seth Rollins’ sassy gesture toward CM Punk

Rollins never shied away from letting his hatred out for the former WWE Champion since his comeback in the promotion. And it’s no different for Drew McIntyre as well.

Last week, The Visionary told CM Punk that he hated him to his face, which made his foe Mclntyre proud. Oddly enough, The Scottish Warrior took that up tonight during their encounter and sang the praises of Rollins.

He said, ”I’m proud of you, Seth Rollins. There are a lot of people backstage kissing CM Punk’s ass. You told him the truth. That’s being a real leader”

However, it didn’t prove to be good for Rollins as he was possibly left a bit injured, receiving a huge blow from Drew Mclntyre.

Despite praising Setg Rollins for his guts to oppose Punk, Mclntyre didn’t refrain from smashing him with a brutal attack. The Raw star being a top-tier champion defended his title against a series of top stars, including Drew Mclntyure at Crown Jewel in an enticing encounter. This planted the seed of their animosity in a firm ground.

Although Rollins has every reason to look down upon his opponent as he established himself at the helm of the business, it only worsens his equation with the Scottish Warrior. And they both kept on humiliating each other multiple times.

Along with that line, they had an intense promo battle that started with Mclntyre going all in conveying his loathe toward Seth Rollins. He acknowledged the hard work he put into attaining the belt and gave him a pat on the back for putting Punk in his place.

But the situation took peer shape when Rollins didn’t reciprocate the praise and said that he pitied Mclntyre. It led the Scotsman to launch a vicious assault and seemingly left The Visionary hurt as a result.It will be riveting to see how WWE pans out their beef down the line.
