“I’m Praying for You”: WWE Fans and Stars Come Together as Big E Provides Concerning Medical Update

Former WWE Champion Big E returned to reunite with Kofi Kingston and start a feud with Sheamus and Ridge Holland. During a match on SmackDown, Ridge Holland gave a belly-to-belly overhead suplex to Big E, resulting in the former WWE champion landing on the top of his head. 

Big E later suffered a broken neck, with fractures to his C1 vertebrae and C6 vertebrae, but no ligament or spinal cord injury. The WWE took him out on a stretcher to a medical facility and revealed he didn’t need any surgery.

Recently, Big E tweeted an update on his neck injury recovery. The New Day member wrote, “For those desirous of an update, my C1 apparently isn’t healing optimally. I’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that I can avoid a fusion. But don’t you fret! I’ve got a tremendous support system & what shall be shall be.”

Despite his worries, he is still staying in character and echoing ‘The Power of Positivity’ to the WWE Universe.

Wrestlers react to the tweet of Big E

The WWE Universe was sad to hear Big E’s health update and shared their support and prayers for his positive tweet. Former WWE superstar Peyton Royce said, “positive vibesssss to YOU!”

Former WWE announcer Renee Paquette said, ” Love you E!”

Irish wrestler Big Damo said, “You got this bro”

Lance Storm said, “All the best big man.”

Bully Ray said, “Stay strong E”

Apart from the superstars, several fans also shared their support to The New Day member.

WWE Universe also extended their support

Andrew said, “Sounds like your C1 needs the power of positivity. Prayer for continued recovery”

Jason said, “Damn, I’m praying for you Big E. I had 13 fractures of my spine(including other injuries) back in 2005 when I was 33 years old. Was not easy, but I came out of it a better person. Seriously praying for a 100% recovery for you.”

This fan said, “This is where the prayer of positivity comes in. Just continue to rest and heal man. This isn’t a setback but just another important part of your journey. God got you and he has the final say. Be blessed”

Big E is one of the most beloved WWE superstars in the business right now. It makes all of his supporters sad to see him having a major roadblock in his pathway back to the ring. We all wish Big E a speedy recovery and hope he returns to in-ring action soon.
