The reality TV show followed the day-to-day lives of the WWE stars, the Bella Twins, and their partners. John Cena and Nikki Bella’s relationship was a constant feature of the show. In one of the episodes, Cena and Bella had a conversation about each other’s power of attorney and things got a little tense after the Leader of Cenation refused to reveal the name of his POA to Nikki Bella.

Nikki Bella took offense after John Cena refused to reveal the identity of his POA

As John Cena and the former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella gained popularity as a couple, they starred in a reality TV series called Total Divas. The couple gained even more mainstream attention after Cena proposed to Nikki at WrestleMania 33 after their win over Miz and Maryse.

During this time, they were part of their own TV series Total Bellas. It showcased the couple’s life with ups and downs in their relationship.

Their time in Total Bellas featured a lot of drama, including the time after they broke up. During the second season of the show, Cena and Nikki Bella got into an uncomfortable discussion regarding their power of attorney. Nikki Bella stated that she wanted Cena to be her POA. She said she wanted Cena to make an important decision about her life if it came to that. Afterward, when Nikki asked Cena who was his POA, the Doctor of Thugnanomics refused to give up the name. The 16-time world champion said it was confidential information.

After Cena didn’t say who his POA was, Nikki Bella stated, “Well, good. I am happy it’s not me. I want to be number 2.” However, Cena said she wasn’t even on the list and there was no need to take offense, but Bella took exception to that. She said, “Thanks, I take it as being offensive.”

Bella further said that this hurt her feelings, and she still feels like a ‘girlfriend’ when they were thinking of getting married.

Bella continued, “It just continues to make me feel like a girlfriend than anything else. These are like the big decisions in your life and I am not even number 2.” Indeed, Cena’s decision not to reveal the identity of his power of attorney didn’t sit well with Nikki Bella. She thought as a couple, they should be able to have such information about each other.
