Mandy Rose’s career took a sharp turn last December. WWE fired her immediately after she lost her NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. At first, the news bemused everyone as to why the company let go of one of its more reliable assets. Later, it emerged that WWE objected to Rose’s FanTime content. There were some risque photos of her with her fiance doing rounds on the internet.
But her release from the promotion proved to be a blessing in disguise for the ‘Golden Goddess’. She has made a ton of money after going all in with her FanTime account. She continued, “I started crying, but I’m like it’s fine dad. I was trying to explain to him, well to extent. I’m like Oh god, he’s gonna read all those headlines and obviously I don’t want him to think the worst. But I was like it’s totally fine and he was so confused.
The former Toxic Attraction leader explained that when she got home, her team kept updating her about her FanTime account. And when saw the numbers racking up, it was hard for her to believe.
Rose was worried about how her father would react when he would come across the headlines surrounding her untimely WWE release. But fortunately for her, she found herself a new career that has already made her more famous and rich. Given the success she has had away from WWE due to her FanTime account, it is hard to see her dropping this new career, even if she moves back to the squared circle in the near future.
