Brock Lesnar, who is now seen as the biggest pro wrestling superstar, never fails to escalate the acrimony in a rivalry no matter who he faces up against. Not to forget that his first love is professional wrestling, and over the years he honed the abilities that make his battles exciting for the audience. Therefore, it will be impossible to imagine that fans would not be enthralled if The Beast Incarnate engaged in combat.
However, with that crowd-pulling capacity, comes great demand. It could even make the opponents feel less important at times. There is one such instance where the former WWE star Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, revealed few details about his match against Lesnar. He talked about how the WWE staff, including Lesnar, showed little interest in his match even though it was WrestleMania 32, the company’s greatest event.

After Moxley left the WWE, he became the leading superstar of AEW. Being in the company, it makes sense that the celebrity didn’t talk about many things. However, once they pass through the Forbidden Door, fans have seen that the wrestlers frequently express their issues with certain organizational elements. And a former WWE superstar did the same. Moxley said to Wade Keller of PW Torch that Lesnar had little interest in their match at WrestleMania.

In the podcast, he discussed his WrestleMania encounter against Lesnar and said, “I’m thinking Brock is on the same page with me like we gonna tear it up. I think he truly thought he was being like just doing me a favor. Like, me being in the ring with him was enough to do awesome things for me. I think that’s what he thought. He didn’t want to be there.”
Nobody in the audience was interested in the bout between Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar
Due to their talent, the match would look so compelling on paper that it might have been used as the main event. But in reality, even the WWE crew had little interest in the contest. And Moxley wasn’t happy about it. He stated, “I’m just getting ignored because our match wasn’t important for any producer, writer, or Vince. It was like they gave me enough to give me the match but they didn’t gave any help for making it a good angle or make it a hot thing that people want to see.”

Moreover, after it didn’t work out the way, he hoped it would have given their position and abilities. According to Moxley, the match was an absolute letdown. If Lesnar was interested, they could have offered him the best bout of the evening.
