The NFL season for 2023 wrapped up a couple of weeks before. But football fans need not worry as Dwayne Johnson is back with an XFL season to satiate your football hunger. XFL kicked off this Saturday with the inaugural match between Arlington Renegades and Vegas Vipers in which the former gained victory by 22-20.
Vince McMahon founded the XFL in 2001 but the owner of WWE had to sell the company after it went bankrupt. Johnson and his ex-wife, Dany Garcia, bought the company for $15 million in August 2020. The league seems to be on a solid footing and gaining some appreciation for its ‘review’ system. And with DJ being a huge celebrity name his presence during games is making it a bigger spectacle. In one of his latest tweets, The Rock shared a post regarding the third game of this year’s XFL season that went viral on social media.
