WWE veteran Jim Ross recently had a major health scare after suffering an ugly fall in his bathroom. At his age, any such incidents are a major hazard to his health and must be avoided at any cost. Fortunately, Ross escaped any major consequences.

Recently, speaking on his podcast, Ross opened up on the update following the health scare and spoke on how he is fairing now. Ross suffered the fall prior to the premiere of AEW Collision on June 17th. However, despite being injured he attended the show, but would later claim on stepping away to heal.

What major update did Jim Ross give on his health?

Ever since Ross stepped away from AEW to heal, he has not been seen on television. Recently speaking with Conrad Thomson, Jim Ross provided a major update on his health and gave the fans a sigh of relief.

Ross stated that he is doing well now, and that there is nothing to be scared about.

He said, “I was too unsteady to drive. And sure as hell unstable to walk around the grocery store. So, I have my housekeeper bought me a little cane, which I am embarrassed to say I have used. Not outside, but inside the house. ” He further joked that he never had a problem with falling, it was instead landing.

Always portrayed as an alpha figure on screen, Ross stated he was embarrassed to use the cane to walk. He further stated that health wise he has always been lucky, but the hectic schedule of pro wrestling has been taking a toll on his body.

At 71 years, a person has to be extra careful to not hurt themselves. However, after Jim Ross fell in his bathroom several speculations rose concerning his health. However, Ross emerged healthy and fine from the incident and spoke about it on the podcast.

He said, “I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, so I hopped out of bed to go to my bathroom, and apparently I tripped over my CPAP cord. When I did, I fell face-first into the end table next to my bed, and the corner hit over here somewhere. So I had a huge knot immediately, eye swelled shut almost immediately.”

The scar was visible on Ross’ head, and it indeed looked very concerning. Despite attending AEW Collision the next day, Ross took leave and is recovering right now.
