Hulk Hogan wrestled for a long time in his career. The Hulkster was the most popular professional wrestler in the business. He was the ultimate babyface in WWE and a great heel in WCW as the part of the stable nWo.
Hogan was not only a part of the 80s and the 90s, but he also had some great memorable matches in the 2000s. His feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, etc are famous.

Recently, on The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic Hero talked about his match with Hulk Hogan at King of the Ring in 2002. He talked a hilarious segment with Hogan over the wig of brown hair Angle used to wear. He recalled how Hogan humiliated him in their segment, but the crowd loved it.
Angle said, “It’s amazing that fans go crazy for something that’s I mean, I love the fans. That’s awesome, but this thing was so dumb. Oh damn, it’s good. I’m bald on both ends. They (the crowd) were awesome. Yeah.”
Hogan, during their match at WWE King of the Ring 2002, removed the wig from the head of Kurt Angle. However, Hogan wasn’t able to win the match, as The Olympic Gold medalist locked The Hulkster in Angle lock and he tapped out.

When asked about the wig, Angle said he does not have it and always tried to get rid of it. He said, “Oh, we put that thing to rest. Okay, so badly. Oh, I never watched that thing. I’ve never watched it. Whenever I wrestled somebody, they would say Angle, watch that damn wig. And I wouldn’t on purpose.”
Kurt Angle didn’t know why Hulk Hogan was famous
Kurt Angle used to play football in high school. His teammates would imitate Hulk Hogan’s iconic pose of showing bicep muscles. Fun fact, Angle wasn’t familiar with pro-wrestling and didn’t know who Hulk Hogan was. Kurt Angle was told to stay away from pro wrestling and when asked about the same in his younger days, he said, “What the hell is that?”
In The Kurt Angle Show WrestleMania X8 episode, The Gold Medalist said, “I find out he is a wrestler, he’s a professional wrestler because as an amateur wrestler I was told never to watch pro wrestling. I told you this before and I didn’t really know any of the professional wrestlers, but here I’m imitating Hulk Hogan and I don’t who he is.”

He was star-struck when he met Hulk Hogan for the first time in WWE. Hogan was the first wrestler that Kurt Angle got to know about. Because of Hogan, Angle started to know the world of pro wrestling.
