Hulk Hogan is just not known for his popular run in the WWE. He is also famous for his incredible physique during his entire run as a wrestler. The Hulkster is often considered one of the most massive and powerful superstars in WWE. 

Hogan always had a passion for bodybuilding before he started wrestling. Moreover, he often lifted weights with many popular bodybuilders back in the day.

A few years ago, Hulk Hogan met the two-time IFBB Mr. Universe winner Lou Ferrigno at The Salt Lake Comic Con 2014. Ferrigno was also the actor who played the Marvel character ‘Hulk’ in the CBS television series ‘The Incredible Hulk’. 

Both the legends, who are known as ‘Hulk’ in their respective fields, clicked a picture flexing their biceps. The two-time IFBB, Mr. Universe, shared the picture on his Facebook page. 

He wrote, “Hulks Squared. Having a great time at the Salt Lake Comic Con. Come see us if you’re around the area!”

It is a rare sight to watch the Hulks posing together. Moreover, Hogan looks like a bodybuilder standing with the two-time winner of IFBB, Mr. America, and IFBB, Mr. Universe. He is famously known to have 24-inch biceps aka pythons.

However, The Immortal One was never a muscular person. In a resurfaced video, fans could see a lean Hulk Hogan in the middle of his wrestling training before becoming a WWE star.

The WWE Hall of Famer was lean years before he thought of joining this industry. However, once he saw other wrestlers he started working out, which in turn become the biggest boon for his WWE career.

Hulk Hogan had a tough time while training

Over the years, fans have heard the story of Hiro Matsuda breaking Hogan’s ankle on his first day of training. Moreover, Matsuda did this to teach Hogan to respect professional wrestling. However, there are several other versions of this, but one of Matsuda’s other students, B Brian Blair, once shed light on this.

He said he wasn’t sure why Matsuda broke Hogan’s angle other than the fact that the wrestler would give Matsuda a tough time once in a while.

Even Blair doesn’t have a clue why the legendary Japanese wrestler broke Hogan’s ankle. Matsuda was a strict trainer, and it is said he wouldn’t let wrestlers train with him unless they did 1,000 pushups and 1,000 squats.

However, it seems if Matsuda wanted to teach The Hulkster to respect professional wrestling, then he was successful. Hogan became a big name in the industry and has respected the sport for over four decades now.
