WWE superstar Roman Reigns is closing in on 1000 days of his Universal championship reign. He has been holding the title for almost three years now. It is way longer than any other title reign in the modern era. However, back in the late 80s, the WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was the mega power in the WWE who held the WWE titles for four years straight.

He was the WWE champion for 1474 days and some fans are claiming that Roman Reigns will break this record. But when it comes to the WWE legend Hulk Hogan, then he is not even thinking about it yet. Instead, he has some other regrets in his mind when it comes to the ‘Tribal Chief’.

The WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan recently appeared on the latest episode of Ariel Helwani’s ‘The MMA Hour’. There, the host asked him about the ‘Tribal Chief’ and also about a big name in the wrestling industry who could have done great business with him in his prime.

To this, the WWE legend unhesitantly praised Reigns saying that he has got everything figured out that several wrestlers couldn’t figure out for decades. And about the wrestling star who could have done serious business with him, Hogan named himself.

The WWE Hall of Famer said that he could have drawn some serious money with Roman Reigns if they’d been working in the same era.

Talking to the host, Hulk Hogan said, “Well, he’s got it figured out. A lot of people wrestle for 20 or 30 years, and they don’t ever figure it out. You know, they’re smart to the business, and they know, but they’re really never figured it out.”

He then added, “If I was in my prime and I walked in with him, I could draw some major money with him.  Yeah, I could draw some serious money with them. If I was 40 years old, I could go back to Roman Reigns in my prime. I could draw some major money with him.”

The Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns will surpass 1000 days of his reign.

And soon he might break Hogan’s record of holding the title for 1474 days. however, this is not the only record of the WWE Hall of Famer that the ‘Tribal Chief’ might break.

Will Reigns break the record that Hogan set 30 years ago?

The WWE legend Hulk Hogan holds a record that no one has broken in the last three decades. He has main evented WrestleMania eight times. Thirty years ago, Hogan appeared in the main event of Mania 9 and set this record.

But Roman Reigns is closing down on that record well. He competed against the WWE superstar Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39, and it was his seventh Mania main event. With this, the ‘Tribal Chief’ tied with the WWE CCO Triple H.

And if Reigns main-events next year’s Mania as well, he will tie the record of legend Hulk Hogan.
