Rhea Ripley prefers a Hall of Famer as her potential opponent

Ripley recently appeared on the WWE Deutschland Instagram page. She discussed a host of topics. Among them were the former NXT champion’s preferred opponents.

She said, I mean, I would love to defend it {title} against Beth, I would love to have a singles match with her. She got a little taste of what I’m capable of in the tag team match.”

‘The Eradicator’ has come up against Hall of Famer Beth Pheonix in mixed tag team action. The two have been embroiled in a rivalry that has also involved Edge and Finn Balor. There have been glimpses of what a potential feud can bring to the table. 

And someone in the ilk of ‘The Glamazon’ will be a perfect opponent for Ripley. Phoenix can help her reach unassailable heights in her career. It would be interesting to see if the WWE books this clash in the near future.

Ripley chose a unique challenge as her next choice

The Judgement Day member mentioned an up-and-coming wrestler Raquel Rodriguez as a desired opponent next. An intriguing choice by Ripley, as the muscle game will be on full show in any potential battle between the two. Both the superstars are known for their incredible power and any possible match has money written all over it.

“So I would love to face Beth in a singles match. But, if not her then I would say, Raquel Rodriguez. I love a challenge and she’s definitely a challenge. I know from NXT, I know from tagging with her for years, what she is capable of. So, she would probably be one of my picks”. added Ripley

Rodriguez has impressed with her in-ring work on the main roster. The former NXT superstar seems like a complete package, which bodes well for a successful WWE career. 

Rhea Ripley has time and time proven that she belongs in the big leagues. And she has achieved that feat by constantly challenging the best in the business. Her desired opponent features veteran Beth Pheonix and the new performer around the block Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley is not afraid to push her limits and that is what has brought her immense success in the WWE.
