Zelina Vega’s release from WWE became the most controversial issue of the week. Ten minutes after tweeting ‘I support unionization,’ Zelina Vega was released from her WWE contract and was wished well in her endeavors. Former WWE Superstar and another Twitch streamer to be released by the company, Miro, commented on Zelina Vega’s release.

Miro defends Zelina Vega after her release
The AEW star sympathized with Vega’s release but also celebrated her return to Twitch.
“She’ll be fine. When things like this happen, it’s always somebody’s loss,” said the former US Champion. He reassured viewers that Vega would be back and better than ever.
“Trust me, if I were in her place, I would have done the exact same thing,” said Miro. “Well, yeah, I mean it’s clear that she loves Twitch.”
It has been very confusing to see the whole Twitch situation develop. What started as a crackdown has bloomed into wrestlers losing jobs.
Apparently, Vega had announced on her stream that she would be taking a leave of absence from Twitch. However, she opened an OnlyFans account as well, which was a direct violation of the company’s new third party policy. She opened the account for her cosplay pictures under the name Megan Minx.
I support unionization.

WWE vs Third Party Services
Twitch community, how did wrestlers make you feel when we stream on twitch? I know it helps mentally with me. Having such a positive outlet to go to. ❤️

WWE superstars found these streaming services to be an outlet for the stress of competing and living in a pandemic. Fans loved it as they got to see their favourite Superstars outside the ring and doing stuff what regular people would do. This made streaming incredibly popular.

Former WWE superstar Paige was someone who was very outspoken about the crackdown on Twitch. She tweeted out in support of Zelina Vega, just like Miro did. Miro and Paige are also streamers on Twitch. However, Miro jumped to AEW which gives him the freedom to stream.
