Being a wrestler is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work, stamina, and more often than not some huge sacrifices. There are many superstars who sacrificed their other aspirations in life for the sport. Former WWE star Nikki Bella is one of them. Nikki Bella has been as connected to the entertainment industry as she has been with wrestling.
There are hardly any WWE fans who didn’t long for seeing the Bella sisters in the episodes of Total Divas and Total Bella. The former WWE Diva’s Champion started his career as a model long before being a part of wrestling. But once she got inside the squared circle it became her everything.
Nikki Bella prioritized wrestling over anything

Back in 2016, Nikki suffered a bad neck injury that sidelined her for months. While returning to the sport again battling the tough time, she didn’t want to do any compromise with her WWE career. Therefore, Nikki didn’t take more than a second to reject an offer to appear on the reality show ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
During the recent episode of The Sessions with Renee Paquette, the WWE Hall of Famer had a candid chat where she spoke about many personal details of her life, including her marriage and relationship with her husband Artem. She also talked about her decision to choose wrestling over dancing at one point in her career.
The multitalented superstar noted, ”Because you know I was originally supposed to do dance dancing with the stars when I came back with my neck injury at Summer Slam. I was gonna dance with Derek Hough.”
Reflecting on her conversation with Vince McMahon, she added, ‘I was just telling Vince like I want my comeback to be in the ring. I’ll do both but I won’t choose dancing over wrestling. I want to wrestle. And so Vince was just like, Chris Jericho said it was really hard doing both, so you just have to make that decision. I was like, okay, I’m gonna wrestle. I am not gonna do dancing with the stars. I didn’t care. Because I was just wanting to get back in that ring and all that'”.

Nikki Bella’s commitment to WWE was commendable as going over to a reality show may have the easier path, but she wanted to prove herself again in the ring and so she did. Although she did sacrifice to be on the popular reality show, she didn’t let go off the opportunity a second time when her in-career began winding down.
You can call wrestling ‘fake’, but never the wrestlers. This, actually adds up to millions of examples of the passion and commitment of the wrestlers to the sport.
