WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 is underway at OVO Hydro, Scotland. The Scots crowd is already having a ton to pop louder for, and with a star-studded card featuring several homegrown heroes in the play, the glimpse of Uncle Howdy was the much-needed addition to their spark. But the usual QR code glitches raise an unusual question about Bo Dallas’ heavily teased return narrative.
WWE Universe has had enough of a breathtaking wait for the last few months, bearing with the constant teases of Howdy’s return. Starting from a simple hint after Bray Wyatt’s documentary to hundreds of cryptic messages, visuals, and links on weekly TV, the arrival of the enigmatic masked man became an inevitable reality.
Given the weight of the storyline, past PLEs like Backlash and KOTR have largely been deemed the ideal juncture to bring in Uncle Howdy, but that didn’t materialize. Rather, on June 17, Raw after WrestleMania emerged as the new target day for the fans. But it seems there could be a certain twist in the plan. The QR code that popped during tonight’s PLE carried a hand-written message noting, ”Now I wonder if he’s me or if that’s what he wants me to think”
