John Cena is perhaps the greatest WWE Superstar of all time. He is an absolute legend in the wrestling industry. Moreover, Cena is a record-setting 16-time World Champion in WWE, tied with two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

To top it all off, John is more than a professional wrestler since he has become a megastar in Hollywood as well. Cena is an inspiration to the current WWE Superstars, as the veteran knows the business better than anyone.

A lot of WWE Superstars have come forward over the years to thank Cena for his advice. Recently, one WWE Superstar who took the John Cena approach was former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre suffered a neck injury and was written off TV for a few weeks. But miraculously, he came back at the Royal Rumble to the shock of the WWE Universe. Recently, McIntyre revealed his approach to healing his injury this fast.

Recently, Drew McIntyre appeared on Sports Guy Talk Wrestling, where he talked about his rehab process through his injury.

Drew said, “They dropped a lighting rig on my head and I came back three and a half weeks later. I think everybody, including the doctor, was surprised at how soon I was able to come back. They told me, ‘You’re not making the Rumble. WrestleMania is possible, but let’s say it’s unlikely right now.’ ‘Okay Doc, no problem. I went straight to rehab and I’ve always had the John Cena approach to rehab with every injury.” (h/t WrestlingNews)

John Cena once made his own shocking return from injury

John Cena is a powerhouse. He is perhaps the strongest and most resilient WWE Superstars in history. Throughout his run in WWE as a full-time star, Cena was praised for his incredible work ethic.

Moreover, just like Drew, John Cena also once made a shocking return to Royal Rumble 2008. This was after he had torn his pectoral muscle three months prior on Raw.

Cena returned to the shock of the fans and was met by a huge pop. He truly never gives up as he keeps adding things to his incredible list of accolades.
