Among those who were released was Tenille Dashwood, a.k.a Emma. For her, being part of the WWE was a childhood dream after meeting Trish Stratus at the age of 13 in 2002. She signed on in 2011 and made her NXT debut a year later. On the January 13, 2014, episode of RAW, she made her main roster debut. However, she would be released by the company in 2017.

Yes, Emma was released by the company twice. After five long years, she returned on the October 18, 2022 episode of SmackDown. A day after announcing her release from the company, she posted a message on X where she went into more details. She began by thanking all her fans and supporters, who sent her words of encouragement after her release. “While I wasn’t expecting a call yesterday, it’s also fair to say that I wasn’t shocked,” she wrote.

She said she expected to do better during her second company run. However, in time, it became clear to her that it wasn’t going to go the way she had expected. But despite everything, she wrote, “I feel very fortunate today.”
