Recently, the WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins gave an interview to ‘Dailymail UK’. There, he talked about several ongoing topics. He opens up about being the first heavyweight champion and his debut in the Hollywood industry.

The ‘Visionary’ also put light on why he didn’t get his rematch for the Undisputed WWE Universal title, even after delivering a phenomenal performance at Royal Rumble 2022.

Seth Rollins revealed that he was very close to beating Reigns, and that’s the reason he didn’t get another shot. Rollins said that Reigns knew if he’d face him again inside the ring, he would lose for sure.

The World Heavyweight champion also mentioned that he was the only opponent whom Roman Reigns didn’t get “smashed, stacked and pinned”, so he definitely deserved a second chance.

Recalling his Royal Rumble match, Seth Rollins said, “I never got another shot at that title. There’s a reason why I never got a shot at that title: I was the closest person to beating Roman Reigns. I was the only one that escaped on a PPV in a title match that didn’t – as he says – smashed, stacked, and pinned. I was the only one and there was a reason I never got another crack at that title and there’s a reason he’s stood far, far away from me in the last year and a half. If I could go back and do it again, I’d beat his a**, absolutely.”
