Whenever the WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker stepped his foot inside the ring, the crowd was hooked. He managed to turn even the simplest matches into blockbuster events. But there is no denying the fact whenever he was set up against his iconic rival Mick Foley, the two would entertain the fans.

To this day, the nerve-racking Hell in a Cell match between Mankind and The Dead Man, which left the former unconscious, brings a chill down the spine of many. Both the stars tore the house down at King of the Ring 1998. Despite their storied rivalry, they never got to fight on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Sadly, the WWE Universe did not get to see that. But how does Mick Foley feel about not getting a WrestleMania match with The Phenom? Let’s find out.

Not having a WrestleMania match with The Undertaker doesn’t upset Mick Foley

In the latest, Foley is Pod – WrestleMania XIV episode, Conrad Thompson asks Mankind if never getting a match against Taker at The Showcase of Immortals disappointed him. In response to this question, the 57-year-old star replied with a negative.

Foley said,

“Well, at that point, the streak wasn’t really the streak because it wasn’t really spoken about. It didn’t take on those mythical proportions. And even back then I was so proud of being Mr. in your house. Yeah. So I was okay with that.”

Foley says things could have been different

During the podcast, he also mentions that if he had made some other decisions in the past, then maybe he would have gotten a WrestleMania moment with The Deadman. But since he chose a different path for his career, he missed the opportunity to share the Grandest Stage with his iconic rival.
