The Undertaker was always protective about the character’s image. It didn’t matter if Vince McMahon wanted The Phenom to do something, he raised his voice against it if he believed this didn’t go with the character.
On the 1993 Edition of Survivor Series, on that Monday Night Raw, The Deadman revealed a very patriotic jacket. As a part of The All-Americans Team, he revealed a jacket which was lined with the flag from the inside.
Now, even though The Deadman did it that one time, if it was up to him, he wouldn’t have done it then either.

“If it had been up to me, you wouldn’t have seen it this night either. Believe me, I’m as big a patriot as will come down the road. I do a lot of work with our veterans and our first responders. But when Vince [McMahon] presented that to me, I was like, ‘There is no way in heck I am gonna walk out there and open my coat with that flag’.”

Why Vince McMahon wanted The Undertaker to use the American Flag?
The Big Man does not make WWE Superstars do anything without reason. Therefore, he had a reason in mind when he asked The Deadman to wear a jacket which revealed the American Flag.
“He thought it was so cool because it was the Betsy Ross 13-colony flag, right? And that was what was gonna make it cool. I was livid. I was like, ‘This is not what Undertaker does.’”
It was important for Vince McMahon and The Undertaker to be on the same page. Therefore, The Deadman did what The Big Man wanted, but just that one time.
Taker revealed that the jacket may still exist somewhere, but the flag is definitely gone.

The Undertaker revealed his favourite match from Survivor Series
The Deadman debuted at WWE Survivor Series 1990, and what he did for the next thirty decades has given pro-wrestling and sports entertainment a structure.
During WWE’s The Bump, The Deadman revealed that it was the debut which remains his favourite from Survivor Series.
“You know what, it has to be the debut. That was so incredible and little did I know at that moment where the character would go. And, we would be here, talking about it thirty-one years later. You have to remember who was around me. I had Bret Hart in the ring, you got Dusty Rhodes.. it was really really cool.”
It was at Survivor Series 1990 that Taker realized he was home.

“I’m getting to do a lot of things I was never able to do. Even those last few years when I only had a handful of matches, but you’re kind of always still in the flow, kind of in the grind of keeping yourself ready and not planning any trips or anything.”
