In a recent interview, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair revealed some shocking information about himself. Yes, another mysterious fact about “The Nature Boy” has been revealed. This pointed straight to his legendary match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 18.

For those who recall the match, it was a brilliant Legend vs Legend encounter. “The Nature Boy” brought his A-game and fought “The Deadman” tooth and nail.

Unfortunately losing the match in the end, Ric Flair reveals that he was very nervous before the match! Yes, even the most confident guy in the business is vulnerable to cold feet.

The Undertaker had no opponent for the match at WrestleMania 18, so he was set up against Ric Flair. The match was special for both superstars.

Flair says that any superstar in the world would be excited to wrestle The Undertaker. However, he was just horrified at the thought of it. Flair says that he had to fight the greatest performer at the biggest stage of them all.

He also adds that he was so nervous that he didn’t take at the moment as he should have. “I just look back and say, ‘God if I could have just gone into the ring and felt like I did when I walked out, so much better it could’ve been’,” says Flair.

Flair explains how he felt so accomplished and dignified for having fought The Undertaker at WrestleMania after the match was over. He wishes that the same feeling had come over him as he walked up to the ring.

Flair was no nervous that he wasn’t even himself in the ring. He said that he wanted to tell The Undertaker about how he felt. He added that since The Undertaker and he were close friends, he had no problem letting “The Deadman” know about this.

The Undertaker himself has his own take on the entire thing. As mentioned before, “The Phenom” didn’t have a match set up for WrestleMania 18.

He revealed that Vince McMahon offered him to fight an upcoming Superstar or Ric Flair. The Undertaker chose Flair.

The following 20 minutes that ensued in their WrestleMania match up was a great experience for the two. The influence of this match on The Undertaker was clear when he named Ric Flair as one of the best wrestlers he fought against.

Ric Flair proved that he too was human in this interview. But who can blame him? Imagine walking closer to a 6’10’’ giant dressed as a demon, just waiting to beat the life out of you! We bet anyone would be nervous.
