“I Was Dealing With So Much”: Michelle McCool Reveals How Her Relationship With The Undertaker Made Life “Tough” For Her in WWE

The Undertaker has been the reason for a lot of things. From building the WWE through the company’s hardest years to making the careers of young stars. However, one thing no one would have expected was that The Deadman would be the reason for someone’s exit from the company. It is more disheartening when that person is none other than his own wife, Michelle McCool.

The former Women’s and Divas Champion was one of the Women’s division top stars during her time, but she left the WWE in 2011. But what could be the reason for one of the greatest women wrestlers leaving and how did it involve The Undertaker?

Michelle McCool reveals the reason for leaving WWE involved The Undertaker

On a podcast with legendary WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia, Michelle McCool revealed her reason for exiting WWE. She said, “It was tough just leaving in itself was tough because it got to a point where I was dealing with so much again mostly being Undertaker’s girlfriend and why I was on TV and even having a writer throw the papers up one day and say ‘Why don’t we just call it the Michelle McCool and Undertaker show?!’”

“It was nonstop, and I went to Vince on numerous occasions, and bless his heart he was wonderful, but I just said Vince, I don’t wanna hate something that I grew up loving so much and the longer I stay the more I’m like getting a sour taste in my mouth. So making that decision to leave was as hard as it is, but more than wanting to be in WWE or be a champion, I’ve always wanted to be a mom.”

Michelle McCool is a WWE legend, and it was hard for fans to see her leave the company. However, as she mentioned she always wanted to be a mother and that could have played a part in her decision.
