WWE legend Billy Graham passed away last night. Graham was well known for his top-notch physique and fashion. The former WWE champion was an inspiration to many, including the legend Hulk Hogan. Ever since his early days, Hogan has been a fan of Billy Graham.
Recently, an old video doing rounds on the internet was found, where The Hulkster was seen heaping praises on the late great Billy Graham. Graham’s death left behind a massive legacy and heritage in the world of pro wrestling, which budding superstars will look forward to achieving.

In the video doing rounds on Twitter, the 69-year-old Hulk Hogan was seen heaping praises and complimenting Graham. He would claim how Graham’s physique and aura made him gasp and look at him in wonder. WWE Veteran Gene Okerlund also claimed Graham inspired Hogan.

Okerlund also revealed how both Jesse Ventura and Hulk Hogan drew inspiration from Graham. Hogan went on to become one of the greatest names in the world of pro wrestling, but the late WWE superstar had a huge part to play in it.
What did Hulk Hogan claim while praising Billy Graham?
If one can draw comparisons, Hulk Hogan had several similarities with Graham in his body language and mannerisms. Although not a direct rip-off of Billy Graham, he heavily inspired Hogan. With iconic blonde hair, impressive physique, and uncanny mannerisms, Hogan was the true torchbearer of Graham.

In the video, Hogan claimed, “Billy Graham jumped upon that second rope and he threw that 22-inch arms you know. I looked up at that guy and I wanted to be just like him.” And so did he. Over the years, he crafted a different persona of him, but the legend heavily inspired his early days.

The WWE legend had been suffering for a long time and was often in and out of the hospital. Graham was born in 1943 in Arizona and grew a passion for bodybuilding. Soon after, he entered pro wrestling and crafted himself into a superstar. Graham has been an inspiration to many others.

Triple H also inducted Graham in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. He was admitted into the hospital for several weeks, in intensive care for several health complications. A Go Fund Me page was set up for helping with his medical bills. The page contained a detailed list of his ailments. It stated a major infection in his ears and skull that may take six months of intravenous IVs, heart failure, diabetes, hearing loss, etc.
