You guys are on fire about Black Adam and so am I! Cause this one is a big one, but it’s also defining. I want to raise the bar in terms of superhero movies, but I also wanna come into the best shape of my entire career.

Johnson is surrounding himself with the most knowledgeable and most optimistic people. He will share his diet training routine more with the days. The Rock also promoted his health drink brand and said, “ORIGINAL flavored ZOA tastes like pancakes, peanut butter, maple syrup, and greatness.”

Why did Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson choose Black Adam as his DCEU debut?

Johnson started his Hollywood journey as a mythical character when he played the titular role in The Scorpion King. However, why did he choose an anti-hero like Black Adam when he could have chosen a superhero?

To this query, Johnson had a very interesting answer. He had said in 2014, “One of the things I always loved and admired about Black Adam was, number one, he was an antihero. I love that. I love that the line is a little blurred. He has his own sense of Black Adam justice.”

“He is a ruthless keeper of justice,” Johnson added. “He is the judge, the jury, and the executioner, he believes in an eye for an eye and he will always do everything he can to protect his people, [and] more so, protect his family.”

The Rock himself is a family guy in real-life as well. Hence, the character truly resonated with him on multiple layers.
