“I Want Pop’s Job”: Vince McMahon’s Eldest Granddaughter Seemingly Aims to Follow in His Footsteps Over Stephanie McMahon and Triple H

Vince McMahon is no less of a business mogul. The 78-year-old businessman has been with WWE since 1982. Since then, he has monopolized the industry. It was Vince McMahon who came up with the concept of Premium Live Events such as its prestige attraction, WrestleMania. It is very obvious that the titan might have inspired people on the way to becoming successful businessmen.

One such person is his granddaughter. In an interview a few months ago, Stephanie McMahon talked about how her eldest daughter aims to replicate her grandfather.

Everybody wants Vince McMahon’s seat

In an interview with talkSPORT in April 2022, Stephanie McMahon talked about her husband’s latest ‘Cardiac Event’ and how his recovery is. Apart from that, she decided to discuss her three daughters, whom she shares with Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. She even talked about her eldest daughter, Aurora Rose Levesque, who was 15 years old at the time of the interview. Stephanie McMahon hinted that she is very much influenced by her grandfather, Vince McMahon. And the adorable thing is that she decided to walk in her grandfather’s footsteps when she was just 8 years old.

Stephanie McMahon said, “Our oldest said when she was eight years old ‘Momma, I don’t want your job. Daddy, I don’t want your job. I want Pop’s [Vince McMahon] job.” She then added, “So, just like her grandfather, she wants to be the boss” while revealing that their eldest daughter has already started training in the ring. Talking about her youngest daughter, she said, “My youngest daughter is also very interested but she is all about the personality” hinting at the contrasting natures of her daughters.

The romance between Triple H and Stephanie McMahon happened to be one of the most high-profile relationships of the promotion. But before the two got married, Levesque had to separate from her due to Vince McMahon.

Why did Paul Levesque split with Stephanie McMahon?

The two happened to meet as a part of an on-screen romance storyline. Around 1999, Triple H was on his way to becoming a prominent star at WWE. It was at this time that the future WWE execs were paired together for a storyline. At that time, Stephanie McMahon was supposed to marry her on-screen fiance Test. But Levesque interrupted the ceremony, saying that they both had already tied the knot in Las Vegas. This gave birth to a new storyline in their romance. Love eventually blossomed, and the two were secretly dating each other.

However, there came a time when Levesque decided to break up with her. He was a bit scared as he was dating his boss’s daughter. So the couple decided to split up. But after a year or so, they realized they couldn’t live without each other and decided to tie the knot in 2003. Since then, Levesque became an integral part of the McMahon family, taking the reins in 2022 when Vince McMahon had to step down from his position.
