Bianca Belair is one of the most over and popular women superstars in the current era. Over the years, she has garnished a reputation as one of the top performers on the entire roster. She is the current WWE RAW Women’s Champion and has been in possession of the title after defeating Becky Lynch two years ago at WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 39, she defeated Asuka to continue her long reign. Her popularity recently brought her on Kevin Hart’s popular YouTube show, ‘Cold as Balls’. Both Hart and Belair would enjoy a long and cold ice bath while discussing her career and future ambitions.

The segment was a hilarious one filled with plenty of one-liners from Hart. However, the beginning of the segment saw Belair opening up on her body image issues while growing up, and how much the issue affected her mental health.

Belair would open up on how, during college, she would suffer from depression and other issues. Growing up, she was an athlete, and it triggered her body image issues more. Hart displayed his empathy while Belair expressed her vulnerability while speaking about the issue.

What did Bianca Belair say about her depression and body image issues?

The 34-year-old was an ace athlete during her college days. However, she always believed that she could do better only if she lost more weight. However, this only led her to have body image issues and mental health problems.

Speaking with Hart, she said, ” I struggled with bulimia, body dysmorphia and my identity was a test in track and field. And to be an 18-year-old in college, and trying to figure out who I was as a person, I struggled with depression.”

When Hart would enquire if anyone knew about her problems, she would state that she kept it to herself. However, further, Belair opened up more and revealed that however once it had reached its extreme, she would finally let her loved ones know, and it helped her.

Belair said, “when I just couldn’t hide it anymore. That’s when I got my family involved. Once you like become vulnerable and you acknowledge that you are going through something and you surround yourself with your loved ones, then you can finally get help.”

The RAW Women’s Championship has come a long way from that, and recently even won a bodybuilding contest at World Beauty Fitness & Fashion 2022. She secured the first position in the wellness category and the second position in the fitness category.
