WWE world finally got their thrill pill back, as Brock Lesnar resumed his long persistent feud with Cody Rhodes upon returning in last night’s action-packed Raw. Cody Rhodes kick-started the night with a passionate promo as he was back in his home state of Georgia with family members watching him from the front row. Initially, it looked like The American Nightmare had to wait for the latter part of the show for Lesnar to come and confront him. But the Beast Incarnate had something else in his mind. He abruptly showed up, launching a vicious attack on Rhodes.

He drew Rhodes to the back and got the jump him on via a steel chair, beating him back towards the ring. The assault came as more humiliating to Rhodes as he had his mother in the audience’s chair. That said, not only his mother, Cody’s endearing brother, Dustin Rhodes watched everything from the very start, and he couldn’t let it slide without taking a stand for his brother.

Despite not being a part of WWE anymore, AEW star Dustin Rhodes keeps a close eye on the affairs inside the world’s biggest wrestling promotion. The active involvement of his brother cum former teammate Cody Rhodes plays a major role in that. Senior Rhodes conveyed his love and emotion to his younger brother several times before. After the shell-shocking WrestleMania loss of the American Nightmare, like half of the wrestling fanatics, Dustin Rhodes too had trouble surrendering to reality.

However, later he believed that it benefitted Rhodes, as WWE wanted to chisel the best out of him, offering a series of challenges before handing over the greatest prize. But what Lesnar did tonight pushed his patience to a severe test.

Rhodes’ half-brother didn’t deem it wise to let the dead air prevail and took to his Twitter to call Lesnar out in a spine-chilling message. Giving a middle finger to Lesnar, Dustin Rhodes applauded his brother’s effort.

He wrote, ”If I could I would. Everyone knows I still have gas in the tank. Codeman’s got this. 🖕🏼Brock”

However, it was by no means the first time Dustin Rhodes had his say in the infamous feud between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar.

Cody Rhodes’ intense battle with Brock Lesnar dates back to Raw after WrestleMania when for the first time, Lesnar initiated a boiling rivalry by turning on a devastating Cody Rhodes during his rematch against Roman Reigns. He initially promised to team up with Rhodes but later the situation took the pear shape. Adding momentum to their heat, the duo continued to fight through a host of weekly shows, WWE Backlash and Night of Champions, with both picking up a fluke win.

But at the very start of Lesnar’s disgraceful treatment of his brother during Raw after WrestleMania, Dustin Rhodes was the first to raise his voice. He made his rage and discontentment clear with just two emojis on Twitter.

Also, ahead of their highly hyped-up Night Of Champions fight, when Lesnar broke Cody’s arm during a dramatic Raw episode, Dustin Rhodes called him “a piece of sh*t.

We can’t help but hope to see him engage more intensely in WWE’s matters by returning to his old home. However he recently suggested that his in-ring career is already winding down.

Speaking of Cody Rhodes’ and Brock Lesnar, it will be fascinating to see how their third match at SummerSlam pans out.
