“I Started Cheating a Little”- Cody Rhodes Reveals “Actual Issue” on Being Paired With Brock Lesnar for 4 Month Long Rivalry

Besides, being smooth with the mic in their hand and possessing incredible in-ring skill, a big size earns the fighter an inordinate amount of confidence boost and, in some cases, a greater push from the company. Cody Rhodes’ arch-rival, Brock Lesnar, is lucky in that sense in this perspective.

The Beast of WWE can make anybody afraid of him at the very first sight. His current challenger, The American Nightmare, was not an exception. Rhodes, 38, deals with his mysterious silence, and dead cold attitude quite well, but when it comes to a giant 6ft 2 -280 lbs structure, it keyed him up.

Predate to lace up his boots against Lesnar, Cody Rhodes spoke his mind. During a recent interview with Today, he voiced his early concern on facing Lesnar. He said, ‘‘I was concerned the first time I stood across from Brock that he might be a little taller and I don’t wanna not be seen. I don’t want to be dwarfed. So I started cheating a little towards the camera and I realized we might be the same height. Actually, the problem is he is triple my width that gonna be a trash dog. That’s the actual issue. He is just a giant.”

He indeed is. Another popular heel of the roster, Dominik Mysterio perhaps had the same thought while meeting The Beast for the first time.

If you list the most notorious products in the current WWE roster, Dominik Mysterio deserves to sit atop. His rash dealing with his own family, especially his dad, Rey Mysterio, and many mischievous deeds with his ‘Mami’ earned him the status of a true heel. But Dirty Dom also had legit fear about facing Brock Lesnar.

The Judgement Day member once noted that he turned a nervous wreck when fighting The Beast for the first time alongside his dad back at Survivor Series 2019. However, he later admitted that fighting Lesnar gave an added flair to his career.
