Recently, Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig attended the media call for the promotion of the new season of his show Heels. During the call, Ludwig revealed that he felt amazing when he got the opportunity to play the role of a professional wrestler in the show.
He mentioned that he was fortunate enough to work with real professional wrestlers when he was a teenager. The Hollywood star said that Dwayne Johnson used to tell him wrestling stories about what happened behind the scenes. These stories were really exciting for the young Ludwig.
Talking about Edge and Dwayne Johnson, Alexander Ludwig said, “I’ve had the opportunity to work with some great wrestlers over my career. Adam Copeland, who’s Edge who was on Vikings……. And Dwayne Johnson. We worked together when I was 16 and we still keep in touch. And I remember the stories he used to tell me about what would happen behind the scenes……. How crazy it was when things you have planned don’t go as planned in the ring…….. To me, that was always really, really exciting.”

Alexander Ludwig worked with the former WWE world champion in the Hollywood movie, Race to Witch Mountain. He was one of the main characters and was just sixteen years old at the time.
In his current show, the Canadian actor is playing the role of an independent professional wrestler. In the first season, the star expressed his wish to bring ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch to the show. However, it didn’t happen.

Ludwig also mentioned that he is still in touch with Dwayne Johnson. So, it’s very possible that he will turn to Johnson anytime he feels the need to dig deeper into what his TV character is all about.
