A known fitness and bodybuilding freak, Cena also takes great care when it comes to his diet. He follows a proper muscle-building eating plan and ensures that he works out the appropriate amount as well.
In 2017, the Doctor of Thuganomics talked about his exercising routine in an interview and also shared his diet on his loading days. Moreover, he also talked about how he differed from her ex-fiancee Nikki Bella about a particular eating habit.

John Cena revealed he likes baked food
A muscular body like the one John Cena possesses requires intense training and a well-curated diet. The Champ, who first broke out as a bodybuilder, has always stressed the need to be fit and healthy.
Apart from lifting weights and sweating it out in the gym, Cena also maintains a good diet plan. The 16-time world champion has admitted to having seven meals a day to replenish his body after a grueling workout.
In 2017, Cena talked with Brandon Wenerd of BroBible and answered a few questions about his fitness and diet. Cena spoke about his workout routines and how often he delves into cheat days. The Peacemaker actor also revealed what he does on his loading days and which food he consumes most during that period.

Cena said, “Man, I am absolutely a baked goods person. I love baked goods. I love pancakes and French toast and muffins. I love baked desserts like cookies, pies. I love ice cream.” He then mentioned that his carb loading was different from his ex-fiancee Nikki Bella.
“Yeah, but not like…. Nicole — that’s my fiancee, excuse the explanation. But does she tends to gravitate towards hard candy and sugary sweets. And I know a lot of people have those. You’re either a baked goods person or a sugary-sweet person.”

Moreover, he added he doesn’t like candies at all! The wrestler-turned-actor continued, ” I really can’t stand candies of any kind. I just always love baked goods. I’m a sucker for that stuff.”
