“I Put a Fu*king Headlock”: Stone Cold Steve Austin Recalls a Legit Fight He Had With an Insect

Stone Cold Steve Austin had a variety of funny segments in WWE. The most memorable ones were a brawl with Vince McMahon at the hospital, grocery shopping with Booker T, and the beer bath segments. Apart from being a serious competitor in the ring, Steve Austin entertained the WWE Universe with his comedic segments and promos, too.

However, did you know Stone Cold Steve Austin once wrestled a horsefly? This happened while he took a break recording his podcast, The Steve Austin Show Unleashed! He shared the story on the same podcast a few years ago after he wrestled the fly.

Austin said, “A horsefly came over here on the godda*n table and I didn’t have nothing to hit him with and so I snatched that motherfuc*er up in a headlock. I put a fu*king headlock on a horsefly, snatch that motherfu*ker up. He tried to fly away so I took him over and we laying there on the godda*n floor and it’s the horsefly godda*n, It ain’t a regular fly.”

Stone Cold added, “I put that son of bi*ch a headlock and he starts talking to me and he goes,’ All right kid one tackle, one down hip toss’, and I said WHAT? He goes,’ All right kid one tackle, one down hip toss’. I said godda*n we ain’t having a wrestling match.”

The Texas Rattlesnake snatched him in a headlock to throw it outside from the window. He jokingly said that he would not allow the horsefly to call the high spots for a match. If he was having a match, he would have called the high spots for the same. Austin stated his high spot with the horse fly as sticking a thumb in its eye and throwing it outside. 

Did Stone Cold Steve Austin defeat the horsefly?

Stone Cold claimed he would not have the match with the horsefly. However, he had a match in which he was successful in throwing the fly out of the door. But the horse fly wasn’t done with the WWE star and came back to challenge him.

Austin said, “Then he started (makes door knocking sound), he started beating on the side of the fu*king door.” “The fu*king horse fly was trying to get back inside and he said, ‘come out here motherfu*ker. I ain’t through with you yet, not by a long shot.”

Austin then when to his backpack and brought his Glock 45 and kept it on the face of the fly. He gave two options to the horsefly: either fly out or he would shoot him on the spot. Austin claimed the horse fly looked at Austin getting angry and flew off.
