Sasha Banks has always been one of the top stars in the company and has earned a great deal of name for herself. Throughout her career, she has remained one of the biggest names, and a constant upper-card performer. A multi-time world Champion, Banks was a part of the reputable four horsewomen of WWE.
However, earlier last year, Banks had a major fallout with WWE. It resulted in her walking out of the company alongside her tag-team partner, Naomi. After Vince McMahon retired, WWE tried getting Banks back into the roster, however, they were unable to meet her financial demands.

This unfortunately led to Banks eventually moving out the company. Recently, she made her way to Japan and appeared on NJPW, challenging Kairi for her Championship. She would interrupt Kairi, and have a stare-down with her, before attacking her with her finisher. However, the finisher ended in a botch. Banks aka Mercedes More, as she went by in Japan, challenged Kairi to a match.
Seeing her in Japan, made all the wrestling and WWE fans go in shock. However, as her true fans would know, it was always one of Banks’ dreams to work in Japan or Mexico. Speaking to Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, she revealed her initial dream of working in Japan.
Banks said, “Before WWE my biggest dream was to be in Japan. But WWE Called me first. I never actually thought I was going to make it to the WWE because I never thought I was pretty enough or that I look like the mold that I was seeing on Tv for women.”
Unintentionally, Banks revealed the hiring biasness and the typical beauty standard that WWE followed, and how it led to the major absence of good talents from the company. She further stated how while training, she had second thoughts of moving to Japan or Mexico for her career.
When Sasha Banks made her way into WWE, the Divas era was still on, and it was Vince McMahon at the top. McMahon’s preferences and biased beauty standards made Banks feel insecure.
Fortunately, she never did so, and WWE fans got to witness The Legit Boss.
