Brock Lesnar is happily married to Rena Greek aka former WWE superstar Sable for over 15 years now. The couple does not reveal much of the details in public, but they share a great bonding between themselves. However, did you know Lesnar had given Sable a condition that would affect her career in order to get married?

In his autobiography, ‘Death Clutch’, Brock Lesnar has a chapter about him and his wife Sable. In that particular part, he mentioned details about their relationship before they got married. Moreover, The Beast Incarnated stated he wanted her to leave WWE, in order for them to get married.

The UFC legend wrote, “Everywhere I looked, all I could see was uncertainty. But there was one thing I was sure of: I wanted to marry Rena. However, before I could do this, I needed her to get out of WWE.”

He added, “’If we want a relationship,’ I told her,’ neither one of us can work for that company. We both know the long-term side effects of everything there. That was my only demand. Nothing else. Just that.”

This was when the Minnesota Vikings had released Lesnar and so his NFL dreams went into vain. Moreover, he had signed a non-compete agreement with WWE while leaving, which didn’t allow him to wrestle in any wrestling or combat sports company.

It worried ‘The Conqueror’ about his future without a job in his most prominent years. However, this future had been crushed by WWE at the time. Therefore, Lesnar wanted Sable to leave WWE in order to start a life together.

Lesnar has stated in his book about his now wife respecting his condition. Rena Greek left WWE in 2004 after her second run with the company ended, which started in 2003.

Previously, Sable and WWE had a bitter relationship upon her leaving the company in 1999. Furthermore, she had filed a lawsuit against the company for unsafe working. However, both parties settled the lawsuit, after Vince McMahon counter-sued her for using the name, Sable.

Thus, as Lesnar wrote, how she had really worked hard to get back into the company. Therefore, he didn’t feel great to make her leave WWE at the peak of her career and with him making no money.

However, as per the 7-time WWE Champion, Greek was willing to do anything to make this relationship work. Thus she left WWE and was with Lesnar backing him in his darker days.
