Two of the top wrestling promotions in North America, AEW, and WWE, have some never-ending comparisons since the former came into existence. All Elite Wrestling has always something great in its store in respect of surprise debuts, with Tony Khan always keeping an eye on the big talents of the industry to bring them under his promotion. However, as long as viewership is concerned, WWE majorly dominates in that area with a clear gap in the numbers. AEW’s recent Dynamite rating was also not that successful despite teasing big hope.

While AEW is yet to claim the mantle of the biggest wrestling promotion in the U.S., they show high potential. Apart from the numbers and ratings, there are also some wrestlers who are die-hard loyal to their promotion, and Dustin Rhodes is certainly one of them.

Dustin Rhodes openly expressed his love for Tony Khan’s promotion

Late Dusty Rhodes’s son and Cody Rhodes‘s brother is one of those very few stars who have achieved great heights in the wrestling business within a very short period. After dismissing the hope of fans expecting him to be there by his brother’s side at WrestleMania 39, Dustin Rhodes reflected on his future with AEW once again.

While Dustin Rhodes’ inclination toward the current promotion he wrestles under is not unknown to fans, Goldust’s recent tweet made it clearer than ever. Rhodes wrote on Twitter,

The tweet says it loud that Dustin Rhodes won’t leave AEW anytime soon, contrary to his previous statement.

Dusty Rhodes possibly changed his mind regarding a previous retirement decision

The wrestling veteran marked a long 36 years career in the sport last year and thought that was a pretty good number to hang up the boots for good. Dustin Rhodes’ AEW TV appearances have been lessened for a while now and last year when speaking to Busted Open radio, the star depicted why.

Hinting toward his potential retirement, Rhoades noted, “I made the decision that ‘Hey man, at the end of July, my contract is up. And I’m going to be done with the in-ring, or at least tone it way, way down. I don’t know if that’s going to be it, because when we say we’re retiring, we always come back. And we never say never. But that’s what I’m looking for, an end date for my in-ring wrestling career.”

However, it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Dustin Rhodes’ who thinks of himself as not the perfect guy to achieve something as big as the world championship or something of that sort as Cody, nevertheless doesn’t lack the passion and love for the sport and the promotion as well and we are yet to see how far he goes.
