“I Live With CPTSD”: Piper Niven Announces Debilitating Health Condition Ahead of Clash at the Castle

In recent weeks, Bayley has had to deal with the combined forces of Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. The reigning WWE Women’s Champion beat Green in a one-on-one last week on SmackDown. But Niven’s hurdle is much harder to overcome, and she’s been proving it. On Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley confronted Nia Jax to set up a potential encounter. However, Piper Niven launched an attack from behind to put an end to proceedings.

Later, Piper and Chelsea Green defeated Bayley and Naomi in a tag team match. After the show, WWE announced that Bayley would defend the WWE Women’s Championship soon.

And it would be against Piper Niven at Clash at the Castle 2024. But ahead of the much-awaited bout, Niven has revealed to the world a debilitating health condition that she suffers from.

Taking to her Twitter, Niven celebrated the fact that June is known as Pride Month and shared her love for the LGBTQ community. But she also reminded her fans that the same month is also called PTSD and CPTSD Awareness Month. And later in the tweet, she revealed how she has been living with CPTSD and would love to spread awareness about it.

She wrote, “As well as Pride month 🌈❤️ June is PTSD awareness month, and CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder) falls under the same diagnostic umbrella. I live with CPTSD so for the month of June I will be raising awareness of this condition, sharing info and resources to help…” She followed the tweet with another special message of support for her fans.

As Niven wrote for those who suffer, they are not broken and they are not alone. Healing is possible and she truly loves them all.

Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) is a mental health condition that is caused after a person experiences trauma for a prolonged period and repeatedly. It usually stems from childhood traumas and experiences. So fans will surely be hoping that Niven finds all the strength in the world to fight this mental health battle.

And a major factor that’ll help keep her spirits up is her recent match against Bayley. This match is extremely special for Piper Niven. As she will have the unique opportunity to wrestle in a title match in her home country at a WWE Premium Live Event. The Clash at the Castle PLE takes place in Glasgow, Scotland. Bayley, meanwhile, faces the prospect of her second title defense on foreign soil. After putting her title on the line in France earlier in May against Naomi and Tiffany Stratton. What do you think?
