Charlotte Flair stands out as a role model in women’s wrestling for her commendable in-ring works over the years. The Queen literally lives up to her title, both inside and outside the ring.

Back in 2018, Flair became the first ever WWE superstar in ESPN Magazine’s Body Issue, which features nude and semi nudes pictures of the athletes. The motive behind this was simple. She wanted to depict her athletic self beyond the typical ‘women’ body as society views it. Her bold stance gets both criticism and recognition at that time.

However, 4 years after, Charlotte revealed her feelings about that. Appearing in the latest episode of WWE Biography legends, The Queen shared her life journey of becoming a mainstream WWE star. She also shed light on several personal insecurities she faced and overcame in the due course of time. Referring to her ESPN Body Issue Magazine bold photoshoot, she noted, ‘As an athlete, I wanna be put in that category. I like these, like my backside. Those who regularly follow her on social media might notice her raising voice against any harsh comment related to her bodily appearance several times. Once she came up with a savage reply against some ill comments thrown at her through Twitter.

The Queen wrote, ‘I have been told I look like a man. I am ugly. I am fat. I am too muscular. I have no ass. I am only successful because of my last name. I look plastic and much more. I am not going to sugarcoat anything. For the first time in 33 years, I feel confident, sexy, strong, and like a queen in my own skin.”
