End of the Becky Lynch Era

Becky has been at the forefront of pro-wrestling ever since her entry into the promotion in 2013. Her relatively short 7-year career has seen Becky become the face of the WWE and the women’s division. It was with ‘The Man’ that the Women’s Championship reached new heights, as she brought in a bigger fanbase almost daily.

Lynch’s charisma, her marketability as a star, and her amazing ability in the ring made her one of the greatest in the sport. She faced the Smackdown and RAW Women’s Champions Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in a monumental main event at Wrestlemania 35. Becky defeated both superstars and unified the titles, becoming perhaps the greatest Women’s Champion in WWE.

But this may not be the last we see of her. Lynch has reportedly been in talks with multiple film and television studios. She has a solid background in acting, with a degree from the Drama and Music Conservatory of D.I.T. and appearances in multiple stage productions. Aside from her illustrious WWE career, we may even see Becky break into Hollywood and showcase her talents there.

Altogether, it will be hard to fill the void ‘The Man’ left by exiting from the WWE. She is an inspiration to many fans and was the face of the recent movement that made the Women’s Division so popular among viewers. Despite the apparent finality of the announcement, Becky has let the door to a WWE return open. We may see ‘The Man’ back in action sooner than expected.
