“I Have Heard You Say That to People”: Female Hollywood Star Once Teased Dwayne Johnson for Lying to People’s Face

Dwayne Johnson is one of the warmest and friendliest personalities in the industry. Starting a career in WWE, he made a remarkable name for himself. Later, venturing out to Hollywood, Johnson became a top star there as well.

Being such a friendly person, Johnson shares a close relationship with several personalities. He shares a close friendship with Hugh Jackman, John Cena, and Zac Efron. However, he has a special bond with Kevin Hart and Emily Blunt. These two often rib and tease Johnson and vice versa, and are known to share hilarious friendship.

During their promotion of Jungle Cruise, the duo of Blunt and Johnson were making fun of each other. As the video progressed, the duo started speaking about the celebrities they had met. Johnson said, “The first famous person that I met, I was 13. It was Dolph Lundgren. He’s the Russian from Rocky 4. I was obsessed with Rocky. We would skip school every day and just go watch the movie. It’s why my grades were terrible.”

The Brahma Bull continued, “He was at this gym in Hawaii and my dad called me from the gym and said, ‘This big Russian is down here at the gym, you might wanna come down here. This was in Waikiki, Hawaii. I took the bus and that time, I had a big a** boom box. I took that with me, I do not know why.” He then explained how he carried the boom box everywhere with him.

DJ continued, “So, I went down to the gym and he was just leaving and I was obsessed with him. I was obsessed with Stallone, Dolph Lundgren at that time and of course, Indiana Jones. So, he comes out and I go right up to him and I was like, ‘Oh my god! Can I say hello?’ and I went to go shake his hand. He stopped shook my hand. He was so nice to me, and he was so kind. And I took a picture with him and I have this picture, I’m smiling. I was so obsessed with him.”

The Rock further claimed, “And here’s the thing, as I’m walking away, and he’s getting into his cab, I say ‘Hey!’ he turns around ‘maybe we can hang out one day.’ And Dolph Lundgren turns and he goes, ‘Yeah man! Absolutely.’ And he gets in his cab.”

However, Emily Blunt, being the goofball that she is, stated, “You know what, I’ve heard you say that to people. And just lie to their faces.” Emily Blunt and Johnson then continued making fun of The Rock’s antics before moving on.

Dwayne Johnson announces Black Adam tickets are now available

The Rock’s latest movie, Black Adam, is one of the most hyped films of this year. The film is about to hit the theaters in late October and has the fans already buzzed for it. Several new promos and snippets have gathered the audience’s attention.

Although, Johnson had previously received hate for the film. He took to Twitter to announce the early arrival of the tickets.

The film is set to release on October 21st, 2022, and has rumored cameos from Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, and Margot Robbie. However, Black Adam is also rumored to be a milestone in the DCEU and is supposed to have a great impact on the studio’s future.
