Having a long career in WWE is not everyone’s cup of tea, and the chance goes drastically down if it’s a female superstar. But a WWE Female Superstar has broken all those barriers, as 2021 will be her 14th year in the company. It’s none other than the evergreen WWE Superstar Natalya.

Natalya, a former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion, doesn’t look like she will slow down anytime soon. She still holds a prominent place in the SmackDown locker room. Natalya sat down with Booker T as the duo discussed wrestling-related news and found an obvious reason for Natalya’s successful longevity.
It runs in the blood for Natalya
Natalya, who has been part of WWE for 14 years (since 2007), later made her WWE debut on SmackDown in 2008. However, it looks like Natalya is still fit to add another ten more years to her career for WWE. In a recent episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T, who addressed Natalya as the Greatest female wrestler of All Time, asked her the reason she has had such a long career.

Natalya, who gave a brief answer, said that longevity lies in her excitement to face great superstars every time.
Natalya added- “It is so cool because I think what’s given me so much longevity, is finding something extraordinary and finding something great in every single opponent that I’ve had. I think that to get to WWE, you have to be great. I believe there is greatness inside of everyone, whether it’s Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, or Sasha Banks… In return, I find something great inside me. So that’s been my secret to longevity and of course, I have got Neidhart genetics.”
The female wrestler with the most WWE matches
The 14-year long career of Natalya has helped her achieve several accolades. Natalya said she wasn’t aware of the records she possessed until a fan posted it as an Instagram post.

She added that the WWE fact-checked the post and found out that the former WWE Divas Champion holds the record for the most matches in the female history of WWE. She also has the record of the highest number of wins in WWE for a Female Superstar.

Natalya’s longevity and her comments about her family reveal that fitness runs through the family’s blood. She is the first third-generation female wrestler who kept on training with the Hart Family. Both her uncles, Ross and Bruce Hart, were the main tutors for Natalya, who is currently in the blue brand. She is a part of a tag team in which Tamina is her partner.
