Cena starred in the 9th edition of the film. Speaking at the Kelly Clarkson Show, Vin Diesel revealed how John Cena came to star in the show. Diesel revealed that it was something magical that spoke to him about casting The Leader of Cenation in the film.

Diesel is a pivotal character in the film, and Cena joined the cast as his brother. He revealed that he has a shine, where he practises his stunts and combat training. And one day, Cena arrived at that shrine.

Diesel stated, And he comes into the shrine one morning and I had this strange feeling, and if you look back on my Instagram you’ll see the post, cause I thanked Pablo. as I had this strange feeling that Paul Walker had sent him. Very magical.”

Paul Walker and Vin Diesel were best friends in real life as well, and Diesel believed it was Walker that sent John Cena to star in the film franchise worth $5.9 billion.

Will we ever witness John Cena and Dwayne Johnson in a Fast & Furious film?

Throughout his career, Johnson, however, has been a part of several top-grossing films. However, fans were delighted when they found him as a part of the F&F franchise. He starred in several parts of the film, and also in the spin-off, Hobbs&Shaw.

However, he would later leave the franchise after a real-life feud with Vin Diesel. Although, recently, In an interview with ComicBook, McCormick revealed the exact reasons behind a why a sequel with Dwayne Johnson was not happening.

It was revealed that his availability and dates were posing as a hindrance. Although, still not confirmed, fans might be available to witness Johnson and Cena share the screen together in the near future.
