Speaking on his podcast, ‘The Kurt Angle Show‘, the former WWE champ revealed why Vince McMahon handed this storyline to him.
Vince McMahon thought Kurt Angle had a “fetish”
During the podcast, Angle was asked about his controversial storyline which involved him, Booker-T, and his wife Sharmell. And Angle quickly cleared the air by saying that he hated it.
However, Angle also detailed why McMahon gave him this story, and he said that if McMahon felt anything about anyone, he would directly clear the elephant in the room.
By saying this, Kurt revealed why he thinks Mr. McMahon gave him this storyline. He said, “Vince is kind of a ribber, he’ll do stuff to mess with a little bit, to shove it in your face. He thought I had this fetish for black women.”
Eventually, Angle did the storyline but was confused and uncomfortable the whole time. Kurt confessed that he did it because he was a team player and always put the business first.

It was the worst storyline I’ve ever done. I did it anyway because I’ve always been a team player, but I was not comfortable doing it.”
