During the latest episode of The Bump, the North American Champion Dominik Mysterio joined Mr. Heyman for a riveting interview.
While the duo addressed many issues and covered a wide range of topics, one of the biggest takeaways came from Heyman when he discussed the demise of Terry Funk.
According to Wrestlelamia.co.uk, the manager has vividly expressed why he didn’t pay his tribute to the Hall of Famer. He mentioned how he “had the extraordinary opportunity and pleasure of speaking with him in the last few weeks of his life.”

This is truly heartwarming to see Heyman say nice things about the hardcore legend as, besides this incident, you only had bitter things to say about other people. From John Cena to his once advocate Brock Lesnar, the wise man council took jabs and disses at everyone besides his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.
As Heyman cherished his last conversation with Funk, these weren’t the only kind words he said about him.
Heyman calls Funk the Grandfather of a Revolution
Heyman also spoke at length about finding it hesitant to encapsulate the legendary life of Funk in such a short program space.
Acknowledging his impact, the 57-year-old mentioned the ECW legend launched the careers of several superstars, including Shane Douglas and Public Enemy, among others. He would also go on to agree that Funk was the ‘grandfather of a revolution’.

While the bloodline member was kind, he wasn’t the only one to heap praise on Terry Funk. From superstars like Cody Rhodes to Triple H, and even Dwayne Johnson, people flooded with their love and admiration for the iconic once-in-a-lifetime superstar.
