Dream matches are far and many in the WWE. Fans and stars have mapped out their own dream matches involving their favorite wrestlers. However, one name that not many stars would take as an opponent is the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. Not only did he dominate the WWE just months after his debut, but he also broke The Undertaker’s streak. But for one reigning champion, beating Lesnar will help them prove a point.

Gunther wants to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 40

Gunther is the current and longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion. Many stars, both young and old, have stood up to face the Ring General, but to no avail. However, there is one WWE star that Gunther would like to face, and it’s not an easy opponent.

While on SiriusXM Busted Open, Gunther said, “I feel like I’m the end boss to a lot of people.” This hinted at his undefeated streak while holding the IC title for the longest run in the WWE. Moving on, he talked about how Lesnar perfected being the end boss. Finally, he said, “I gotta prove myself.” Gunther hinted that he would like to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 40, but anytime would be perfect.
