Dwayne Johnson never misses a chance to make an impact wherever he goes. The former WWE champion, The Rock, is now a Hollywood big shot. DJ’s acting skills are getting better day by day as he is acing major roles in top-notch movies now. But once, while shooting a big movie of his career, Johnson passed out.

In 2014, Johnson told the story to Conan O’Brien during a segment of The Conan Show. The Rock came to the show to promote his upcoming epic mythology movie, Hercules. DJ explained how the most iconic scene took too much of his energy. 

The Rock said, “In Greek mythology, when Hercules finally accepts his fate of being the son of Zeus, that’s when he gets all of his powers as a demigod, so it’s an iconic moment in the mythology. An iconic moment in the movie and I wanted to put everything I had in it so I had the prop department make sure that the chains were real and the steel was real and I couldn’t break it and then just with everything because it’s the moment of the movie. The movie hinges on this moment.”

How did Dwayne Johnson black out?

Everything didn’t go as Dwayne Johnson planned it. “So with everything I could possibly do, I just let it all out, ‘I am Hercules’ ,I’m screaming and all this adrenaline. What happens? You know if you’re in an athletic event or anything like that if you have all this adrenaline, you can actually let it go as you’re if you’re fighting or if you’re playing football or whatever. But in this case, I had no place for it to go, so I was like “I am Hercules” and I blacked out! I blacked out, but I was already chained, so I didn’t fall on my face.”

At least DJ didn’t hit his face. That would’ve been bad for his acting career. The host Conan O’Brien ribbed The Rock for fainting on the movie set, but as always, DJ took it as a good sport. Hercules turned out to be a blockbuster in Hollywood paving the way for Johnson to more big-budget movies.
