By now every pro wrestling fan knows that everything in the WWE is connected to a predetermined storyline. That said, the fights that happen in the ring are quite real with the wrestlers sometimes performing extreme high-rise maneuvers just so the match looks more fascinating.

But UFC fighters and WWE have always been at loggerheads because the former don?t consider WWE fights as real. As in the case of former UFC Champion Conor McGregor who often takes shots at WWE?s wrestlers. And now another UFC fighter has taken shots at WWE by calling its fights fake.

Nate Diaz refused to fight Logan Paul with WWE?s involvement as he felt the fight will not be real

Nate Diaz will be fighting Jake Paul in a 10-round cruiserweight bout on Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. This will be Diaz?s first fight outside of UFC in 17 years. But before this fight, Diaz?s team was in talks with Logan for a boxing bout.

Things got so concrete that Logan Paul even told his younger brother that Diaz was his next fight. But at the same time, WWE also wanted to get involved as Logan Paul was their top attraction. And that?s when Diaz backed out as he didn?t like WWE wanting complete ownership of the bout.

He did so as he felt that if WWE controlled the shots, the fight would be entirely scripted. In a recent interview with ESPN, Diaz spoke about his disapproval of WWE?s involvement. He said, “The WWE came in and then they wanted to take over the whole thing. And I’m like, ‘I just got out of the UFC, why am I going to sign with WWE?’ I fight for real. I’m not gonna be doing a real fight on a WWE card or no funny s**t like that.”

This again will make fans furious just as Conor McGregor’s words did sometime back. But WWE star Logan Paul wouldn?t let this insult slide so easily. He responded in his signature flamboyant style.

Logan Paul thinks Nate Diaz is afraid to fight him as he is the ?stronger brother?

WWE fans know very well that Logan Paul is blessed with the gift of gab. And his blabbermouth nature was seen recently on RAW where he got extra personal with Ricochet and mentioned his fiancee Samantha Irvin. But going back to Nate Diaz backing out of the Logan Paul bout. Logan felt the reason was too lame and teased him for canceling the fight.

He even went on to emphasize his dominance by saying that Diaz chickened out as he is the ?stronger and faster brother?.

In an interview with ESPN, he said, “You can still be a real fighter with the biggest sports organization in the world promoting your fight. It’s a little lame to me, and I can definitely sell more tickets. I see what he’s doing. I’m the harder fight. I’m the bigger brother, I’m the stronger brother, I’m the faster brother.”
