In 2000, Triple H and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson squared off against another WWE wrestler in a triple-threat match for the WWE title. It was no disqualification and a no count-out match. After a long, hard-fought battle, ‘The Brahma Bull’ picked up the victory and retained his title after pinning ‘The Game’.
During the match, the third wrestler missed a significant amount of the segments because of suffering a concussion. HHH’s botched pedigree on the announcement table had knocked him out completely. The wrestler was none other than Kurt Angle. Recently, he addressed the match and his condition during the ordeal.

King Kurt has spoken about the incident before. During the recent edition of The Kurt Angle Show, he again gave the audience all the nitty-gritty details of the triple threat match at WWE SummerSlam, 2000. In the interview, he confessed he has no memory of the match, all thanks to his concussion.
His concussion was so severe that he ended up getting hospitalized. He said, “Oh gosh, I don’t remember anything. I ended up in the hospital. I came to consciousness, like four hours after the pay-per-view, and I was in a hospital, and I didn’t know where I was, I didn’t know who I was, it was a really odd situation for me.”
“I was literally… my head was not there, my brain was somewhere else, in Lala land. And there was no way that I can remember that whole entire match in my condition,” he added.
As the medics had to rush him to the hospital, he couldn’t speak to his opponents after the match. But later he did have a chat with them.
