Forbes recently posted an article about The Rock on their Twitter account. The piece talked about how Johnson’s social media presence played an important role in his business empire’s growth. The tweet grabbed the Hollywood star’s attention and forced him to come out with a reaction.
“Wow unexpected news. I don’t have a Harvard MBA, but my business philosophy has been sharpened over time and thru failure. I have one boss I serve and connect with – the world and the people in it. I’m the dude who started w/ $7bucks. I’m awestruck ($124M) grateful & hungry,” tweeted Johnson while replying to Forbes.
Not only is DJ proud of being a successful business tycoon without a degree, but he also revealed that continuously learning and changing his business philosophy has got him where he currently stands.

Even though this tweet was not a call out to anyone, it also wasn’t the first time that Johnson decided to give a little reality check to Forbes. A few months ago, when the media house doubted the wrestler’s ability to endure losses, Johnson gave them a tough reply.

This year, The Rock also entered the football industry by rebooting a minor football league called ‘XFL’. Although the league did well compared to its previous reboots, it still couldn’t compete well against other well-established major football leagues. In turn, Johnson and his business partners had to face a whopping loss of $60 Million. Forbes published an article and posted it on Twitter. In the tweet, they asked a netizen to volunteer and tell Johnson that he might want to abandon XFL. The former wrestler soon replied, explaining his long-term game.
The 51-year-old said how even he cannot convince himself to stop advancing. In fact, he showed his business ethics by telling his fans how he has learned from the mistakes his company made in their first season. Hopefully, now XFL will come out even bigger. Those who believe in Johnson’s ‘business philosophy’ would be looking forward to his success.
